I was so surprised by this that I thought that I would post it here. Who else knew that you could post YouTube videos in steam?
"Your videos. Now on Steam. Share your finest gaming moments with your friends. Upload amazing highlights, insightful reviews, helpful tutorials and other game-inspired greatness created by you.
1. Link your YouTube™ account to your Steam Profile. 2. Select the videos you want to add to your profile. 3. Share with your Steam friends so they can marvel."

Inb4 "Access your Facebook profile on Steam!"
On a serious note, Steam has been having a lot of social networking updates lately. Voicechat, screenshots, recommending games. It's just the next step forward really.
And they probably don't want to host 10 bajillion videos on their own servers. :3

well, I happen to like posting videos; it allows you to really show off a group or a server or a mod instead of putting up a link that few will use. Now I know it sounds very FB-ish, but its a useful feature that I feel fits well ;D
