Melee Only Event

Hi everyone, in the next following weeks i'll be trying to host an event melee only.

The rules are basically kill as many specimens you can with a melee weapon and you will be player of the week.

Sorry that there won't be a new computer as the prize.

The mutator is all good to go and every single inventory item can be customised now. The default setting is primed for the event with:

Loadout: Knife, Welder, and Syringe.
Pickups: Armour.
Trader items: Axe, Machete, Chainsaw, and Katana.

Everything else will not appear or be useable.





Just waiting on Phada to give the OK as the original mutator concept 'No Big Guns' is all his hard work. This version takes it that little further with each and every item being optional. Braindead's also got something more sophisticated in the works that expands on this for custom community made weapons and will be the perfect replacement in due course.

I take it this more sophisticated replacement allows for configurable filtering by class name instead of a fugly checkbox list? Sounds good anyway

And I'm always up for a session of dedicated face-cleaving, so count me in.

Yup, it went very badly. But can't always expect the first event to go beautifully, so our next event should go well as planned.

Phada just gave permission to modify his mod so we can allow everyone to benefit from it now. I think you should expand this event to the wider community and KFL has gone all the skills in place to make it happen.
